My neighbor and her husband have to move due to her husband’s job. They were relocated across the country from New York to California. My neighbor, Jean was so distraught with this move. She has so many friends here and lived here all her life. All her family is nearby and she would always have family get-togethers at her house. She didn’t want to move but knew her place was with her husband. Her children were upset also. They didn’t want to leave their friends or have to start at a new school. They also would miss their cousins, who they were close to. The only one that wasn’t sad was her husband, Jerry. Jerry was looking forward to new opportunities on his new position. He stated calling relocation services to make sure the move would go smoothly for his family and tried to do whatever he could to make his family feel better about it. He even ordered tickets to Disney World for the first week they would be out there. As the time for them to move came closer, everybody was getting used to the idea and then they all said they too were getting excited about moving to California. I hope all goes well for them. I sure they will make new friends quickly as they are all wonderful people.
