I really enjoy working as a waitress. You hear so much gossip this way, I only waitress on the weekends just to earn a little more money. It is like you are invisible as a waitress. No one seems to notice when you are re-filling the water cups or the coffee cups. I have heard some weird random conversations and some that I wish I had never overheard. There was this one time I was serving at a lawyer’s luncheon and they weren’t very private about things you would think should be so. Discussing so and so divorce case. There was an argument that broke out amongst a table of lawyers over some bankruptcy case. They were challenging this one guy, asking him if he had even read the bankruptcy laws at all and that he should do so before he went into court to fight this guys case because from the sound of it he had no clue what he was doing. He got really mad, he started getting red in the face and trying to keep his voice a moderate level, was cursing out anyone nearby. He was going on and on how he graduated the top of his class and how he was always on the honor roll. I had to escape to kitchen quick because I was laughing so hard.
