My Mom had a neighbor whose husband recently passed. The neighbor, Mrs. Smyth, is really having a hard time adjusting to her husband’s passing. Her daughter has been a big help to her. She came and stayed with her for a couple weeks now, but she is soon going to have to return home. But during her stay, she found out that her parents have been going through some debt harassment issues. She is trying to convince her mom to sell her home which is really much too big for her to handle anymore, and come live with her. Mrs. Smyth does not want to move, though. So, I guess her daughter is going to try to think of another solution. She has asked my Mom if she would mind keeping her company as much as she can. My Mom does not mind, since they are really good friends. My Mom will usually go next door to Mrs. Smyth or Mrs. Smyth will come over. They’ve been visiting like this for years. Since it about time for school to let out for the summer, Mrs. Smyth’s granddaughters will probably come and stay the summer. That should give her daughter time to consider options.
